Student Services

The Service Desk offers a wide range of support services for BMCC students. This includes help with BMCC and CUNY login issues, student ID cards, Wi-Fi access, and devices provided by BMCC such as MiFi/hotspots. Additionally, students can seek assistance for BMCC-related accounts like Email, Portal, Open Lab, Zoom, MFA, and CUNY-related accounts including CUNYfirst, Blackboard, and Degree Works

Backup & Recovery

These services, provided by the Backup & Recovery team, are for requesting assistance with recovering data from BMCC computer network drives, OneDrive, and virtual machines. File (G: & H: drives) and server recovery is available within 30 days of deletion. This applies to on-premise network drives for selective departments.

BMCC Account & Access

The Accounts team is here to help with all your account and email needs. Whether you need to reset your password, fix login issues, update security settings, or manage your email, we’ve got you covered. We’re here to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely for you.

BMCC Portal

The Systems & Collaboration team supports various aspects of the BMCC experience, including Student Government Elections, the Center for Career Development's online job board and career management system, the Optimal Resume Toolkit for job and internship preparation, the BMCC printing service, student clubs and organizations, and the BMCC Library's E-Reserve and Cataloging Service.

Classrooms and Computer Labs

The Desktop Support Team provides extensive technological support for classrooms and computer labs. They assist with audio systems, workstations, projectors, and the installation or updating of software. Additionally, they provide support for office computers and software applications for faculty and staff to ensure smooth operation in all educational settings.

CUNY Services

The Enterprise Applications Team offers support for CUNYFIRST, DegreeWorks, CUNYBuy, and EAB Navigate access and login services.

Desktop and Software

The Desktop Support Team provides extensive technological support for classrooms and computer labs. They assist with audio systems, workstations, projectors, and the installation or updating of software. Additionally, they provide support for office computers and software applications for faculty and staff to ensure smooth operation in all educational settings.

Enterprise Applications

The Enterprise Applications Team assists with the BMCC Reporting Instance and data transfers for multiple applications. Additionally, they manage the BMCC Enterprise Database and handle requests for administrative Web Applications, and Reports.

Network Services

The Network team provides comprehensive support for desktop network issues, WiFi connectivity problems, VPN requests, network service disruptions, and any new inquiries related to the BMCC network.

Printing and Copying

The Desktop Support Printing team assist with printers in offices, computer labs, and other areas for faculty and staff.

Surveillance & Access Control

The Public safety technology group offers various services and technologies designed to improve safety and security. These include emergency response systems, surveillance and monitoring, mobile apps and alerts, incident management and public safety announcement systems, access control and identification, the maintenance of virtual and physical ID cards, and data analytics.

Telephone & Voice Services

The Telecom team provides comprehensive support for RingCentral Phones (physical, virtual, and mobile app), voicemail PINs, Contact Center, emergency call boxes, fax services, and BMCC-provided MiFi devices.

Locksmith

The Locksmith team assists with Physical key, proxy locks and lock repair.
