Backup & Restore Bookmarks

Chrome

Export Bookmarks

1. Click on the icon in the upper-right corner of the window then select “Bookmarks” then “Bookmark Manager”

Alternatively, enter "chrome://bookmarks/" in the address bar.

 

2. Click on the icon in the upper-right corner of the page then select “Export Bookmarks”.

 

3. The bookmarks will be saved as an HTML file. A web browser can import this file add those bookmarks to the browser. Save this file to your H: drive.

 

Import Bookmarks

1. Click on the icon in the upper-right corner of the window then select “Bookmarks” then “Bookmark Manager”

3. Select the HTML file that you want to import then click “Open”. Your bookmarks will be added to Chrome.

 

Firefox

2. Click on “Import from another browser”.

 

3. Click on “Export to file”.

 

4. The bookmarks will be saved as an HTML file. A web browser can import this file add those bookmarks to the browser. Save this file to your H: drive.

 

Import Bookmarks

1. Click on the icon in the upper-right corner of the window then select “Settings”.

 

2. Click on “Import from another browser”.

 

3. Click on “Import from file”.

 

4. Select the HTML file that you want to import then click “Open”. Your bookmarks will be added to Edge.
