What is TAP URL Isolation?
TAP URL Isolation, part of Proofpoint’s Targeted Attack Protection (TAP), helps protect users from phishing and malware by opening suspicious links in a secure, isolated browser environment instead of blocking them.

How It Works
- Click a URL in an email → TAP checks for phishing threats.

- If suspicious, it opens in the TAP Isolation Browser.
- A scan runs (up to 5 minutes) while you interact with the site.

- If the system detects malicious content on the page, you will be presented with a page like this

- Once the scan is done, click "Exit" to open the site in your regular browse.

FAQs & Key Security Notes

- Should I exit Isolation? Staying in Isolation is safer.
- Can I upload/download files? No, these actions are disabled in Isolation.
