1. Make sure you are aware of your On-campus PC’s hostname to connect to it remotely.
a. You can find your exact hostname on your on-campus workstation by going to: Start menu -> Settings -> Systems -> About.

b. You can also open the start menu -> Type "command prompt" into the search bar -> Type in: hostname followed by pressing the enter key on your keyboard-> PC hostname will be displayed on the next line.

2. Once you have obtained your on-campus PC hostname, when it comes to accessing it remotely from your home PC you can do the following (Windows only):
Open the start menu -> type "remote desktop connection" followed by pressing the enter key on your keyboard--> In computer type in your PC Hostname (PCHostname.bmcc.cuny.edu) -> Click connect.
