Voicemail

Introduction

Use this service to request assistance with your voicemail.

Services include:

  • Voicemail password reset
  • Set up voicemail for the first time
  • Off-campus Voicemail access      

Please follow the instructions below and if you have any difficulties please press the Request Service button.

Setting Up Voicemail for the First Time

 

  1. Press the Messages button .
  2. Enter 4-digit PIN.
  3. Listen carefully and follow prompts.
  4. Setting Voicemail password – this password is for Voicemail only, not for logging into the Cisco desk phone.
  5. At the prompt, enter your new password and press #.
  6. Enter the password a second time to confirm, and press #.
  7. Wait for the appropriate prompt and then press # to complete the enrollment.
  8. Note: PINs must be at least 4 digits. Obvious passwords such as 12345, 98765, 77777 or will be not permitted. If you stop before completing enrollment, your spoken name will not be entered into the Unified Communications System.

 

Accessing Voicemail While Off-Campus

 

  1. Call your BMCC telephone number from home.
  2. When your voice message starts press * (star or asterisk)
  3. It will ask you to enter your ID. This is your 4-digit extension number.
  4. Press #.
  5. Enter your PIN and press #.
  6. Now your voice messages can be retrieved.

 

Eligibility
